POEM: We Just Don’t Know

WE JUST DON’T KNOW

We just don’t know when it is our time to go
When the Father calls us home
So, as we mourn loved ones gone too soon
Let us do our best to spend quality time
With those we hold dear
Nothing is more precious than life
But it is not to be taken for granted
Enjoy each day as it comes
It can be our last one
We just don’t know what tomorrow brings
The here and now, being present in the moment is what really matters
Make it count

Written by me in the thick of the pandemic in 2020. It is a poem of reflection and reality.
